This course will give you a good understanding of both the attacking and defensive Principles of Play.

Course Mentor Jamie Godbold, UEFA A Licence coach and former FA Tutor, defines each principle in isolation and uses a variety of methods to bring each principle to life.

He also provides a useful case study on how Leicester City and Brendan Rogers use the Principles of Play to develop their playing philosophy.

This course is for coaches who want to develop their tactical knowledge and understanding of the game and to support in developing a playing identity/philosophy.

This course will give you an in-depth understanding of the attacking and defensive Principles of Play.

You will learn about why and how they can be applied to your own team’s tactics and coaching and will see how Leicester City use the Principles of Play to form their strategy.

You will also be given opportunity to reflect and share your team’s philosophy with our expert mentor.
