New Mentor – Elite Physiotherapist Grant Downie OBE

MiMentor is proud to announce Grant Downie as the latest Global Performance Mentor for their online training platform. He will be joining former England and Manchester City footballer Shaun Wright-Philips who is currently global ambassador amongst others.

MiMentor is a training platform allowing individuals and organisations access to the best education programmes, including an upcoming course from the likes of Ben Garner who is currently the manager of league one side Bristol Rovers, a UEFA Pro licence Coach and MiMentor’s Global Coaching Mentor.

MiMentor also recently announced a partnership with United Soccer Coaches which is the world’s largest soccer coaches’ organization and will work collaboratively with the coaches and ambassadors at MiMentor.

Grant is a great addition to the MiMentor team, having worked in elite sport physiotherapy for 33 years with his own business offering medical and performance solutions. Grant has worked in clinical leadership roles for the FA, Glasgow Rangers, Middlesbrough FC and Manchester City for the men, ladies and academy, so brings with him huge amounts of knowledge.

He was awarded with an OBE in 2013 for his services to Physiotherapy, sport and working with young people. People who have worked with Grant in the past have described him as a great mentor, influential in their career and a great guy to work alongside.
